Greetings everyone! I’m proud to share that I’ve been hard at work on my first solo gallery exhibition for my artwork: Reclaiming The Wild. My work will be on display at the African American Cultural & Historical Museum of Washtenaw County in Ann Arbor through the end of the year, with plenty of events coming in future months. This weekend is my opening celebration: if you’re in town, I’d love to see you at the event Saturday, August 29th at 6pm (5pm for museum members) but there will be lots of opportunities to take in the experience this year.

I’ve been doing some content over on instagram in preparation for the show, so if you’d like to see me be awkwardly earnest on camera it’s worth following me there!

This is a milestone for me as an artist that’s very meaningful and a bit surprising; I’m really grateful for the opportunity to bring what I find in the outdoors - connection, peace, healing, and inspiration - to folks in my community. More to come in the next few weeks!

Take care.
